I just completed the overwhelming task of painting my house. I had been meaning to do this for more than three years but always had something preventing me. I found that once I started it was easy to keep the momentum going. My friend Sandy's beautiful house and Pinterest inspired me to get going on projects I've been putting off and New ones as well.
This is my new mantel arrangement.
I had been given this old window a few years back. It had been sitting around waiting for me to do something with it. It started out with chipped white paint which I loved but would not give the effect I was looking for so I used some flat black paint I had on hand from another project and added a couple of wreaths from the craft store (wired together for more fullness). I then added a burlap bow and voila! I am pretty happy with how it turned out and have some additional ideas on how to change it up for the seasons and holidays.
Thanks for stopping by,
Holly
