Happy Birthday Banner

 

 I had a picture of this banner in my head for several days before I sat down and started putting it together. When it came to the letters I knew I wanted larger letters than the alphabet dies and alphabet stamps I have - What to do?

Then it donned on me - I could create something with MDS2 (My Digital Studios2 digital program). I had played around with this digital program a bit - not completing anything yet. I pulled it up and started playing around and was able to find an alphabet I liked, re-size, color and space. Then for added interest I found the cute party hat stamp. I used the coloring tool to color the hat with multiple colors, tilt it how I wanted, lighten the opacity and put it behind the letters. I loaded my printer with Whisper White card stock and printed my creation. I punched the letters out using the 2-1/2" Circle punch and added them to the banner - And there you have it - My first hybrid (MDS2/embellished).

 

 

 

I had so much fun making this banner. I think I will be spending more time creating with MDS2.
