Framed Business Card

Today I want to share a picture I created a several years ago (before I started blogging).

It's a business card from what used to be a Landmark here in Salt Lake City - "Bill and Nada's Cafe". The cafe is long gone,  it closed in December 1999 and has since been torn down and swallowed up by modernization, not many places like it left.

Here is a picture of the diner.

Although the card looks to be designed in the 50's, it was still in operation in the early 80's when me and the Mr. started dating. We both worked afternoon and evening shifts at the time, so we would go to breakfast rather than dinner and had a few dates at Bill and Nada's.

So when the Mr was cleaning out one of his drawers and found this business card I decided it needed to be on display.

So I picked up a shadow box frame and some black brads at the local craft store. I gathered some white and black card stock I had on hand along with some Stampin' Dimensionals (Stampin' Up! Dimensionals item #104430 can be purchased Here).

I carefully measured out the spacing for the brads to surround the card (this was the hardest part) and put it all together.

I love the way it turned out. and every time I look at it I get a little nostalgic remembering the times we spent there.

So get out there and put your memories on display!

I hope you enjoyed my trip down memory lane. Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you.
