Dazzling Highlighted Card

It is so cold here in Salt Lake - I mean really cold and inverted. The air is so bad they recommend staying indoors. So I've been staying indoors of course, and catching up on some Stampin' (my therapy) while dreaming of spring and all the bright colors unlike the gray haze outside, which lead me to creating this card in fresh spring colors.





First I stamped the image in black StazOn ink on Whisper White Card Stock and punched a 2-1/2" circle from a scrap paper and layed the circle negative on top of the stamped image (masking the image).

 



I water colored only the image within the circle.



I removed the circle (mask) and placed a Jumbo sticky circle over the colored part of the image by first burnishing the circle to the orange side of the packaging. This makes it stick to the orange side making it easier to match up the colored image.



 I then dusted it with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter and tapped off the excess.
