Faux Leaded Glass

I made this in 30 minutes (not counting picture taking)

I purchased these supplies at Joann's using a coupon for the decal.

Don't you just love it when you find something good on the clearance rack?
First I took the glass out of the frame and cleaned it up with Windex. I set the glass on top of graph paper for easy placement of the decals.

Once I decided where to place the decals I followed the directions and adhered them to the glass. Then added the lead "Cam" lines cutting to fit. Once all the lines are in place set glass back into frame, hang and enjoy!

I took so many pictures I stretched a thirty minute project into an hour.

I used jeweler's tweezers to remove the wood strips holding the glass in the frame. A flat screwdriver also works or whatever is handy - right?
I used needle nose pliers to pull out the tacks.

I cut of the overlapping decal.

I set the frame on top to get an idea where to place the cam lines.

A little wood glue on the wood strips behind the class to hold it in the frame.

I used a paper piercing tool to pierce the bubbles I wasn't able to rub out.

The frame was a little scraped up - Nothing a black Sharpie can't fix.
Before Sharpie...
After Sharpie...

It's that easy! No drying time required.

Bonus! I've got another project in mind for these leftover pieces.

Here is a larger one I made using a floating frame from Target.

Thanks for stopping by, Questions and comments welcome.
